But then, a new giant arrives, the Colossal Titan. Later discovering that these Colossal Titans are actually transformations of regular people with a special ability, Eren possess's the same abilities and uses it to his advantage.

3. Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood

Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood is about two brothers, Edward and Alphonse Elric, who earlier on loose their mother to an incurable disease. Having studied Alchemy, the two attempt to bring their mother back from the dead, only, there's a huge price to pay. To bring back life, you have to sacrifice life. Edward looses his left leg in the act of resurrection while his brother looses his body and soul. With quick thinking, Edward willingly gives his right arm to at least bring back his brothers souls in a metal suit of armor. As they continue on, both fight for peace for their nation and hope no one repeats the mistakes they have. The two also fight alongside the military in hope of bringing down a calamity that seeks to destroy the land with alchemy. As part of their quest, they find peace in their mother's death, and find a way to bring back Alphonse from the Gate.

Darker Than Black, follows the life of “Contractors”, people bread for destruction and assassinations with supernatural powers while striking fear and hate in the eyes of others. After a presence known as Heaven's Gate suddenly appears, Doll's and Contractor's start to show up. Doll's are beings that are controlled and manipulated to do the dirty work of ”Contractor's”. And the “Contractor's”, are emotionless, killing machines that can be used as a weapon for war, if they have a contract with those who control them. Hell's Gate, a massive wall surrounding the city, is constructed to keep it safe from these supernatural beings while an international organization , PANDORA, seeks out information to analyze and discover the truth behind the creation of these beings. But, there's one Contractor different from the others, and he seeks the truth as well.

5. Kill la Kill

This anime, is quite the anime. From the creators of Gurren Lagann, Kill la Kill is one of those over the top anime that follows Ryuko, a transfer student looking for the one who killed her father when she was younger. At Hoonouji Academy, Satsuki, the Student Council President has information about the death of Ryuko father. All Ryuko has to do is fight her way to the top and battle Satsuki in order for her receive the information. Ryuko then comes across a uniform like no other, a Sailor uniform named Senketsu, which is alive and feeds off the blood of its wearer. The academy also has uniforms like Senketsu, but they aren't nearly as powerful, except for a few. While Ryuko fights to avenge her father, she also reveals that Senketsu and the other uniforms are aliens from space and frees them as she stops an organization from destroying the Earth.

6. Blue Exorcist [JPN: Ao no Exorcist]

Blue Exorcist is about two twin brothers, Rin and Yukio, who are raised by Father Fujimoto since their birth. As they get older, the brothers begin to notice things that no one else can, demon spirits are suddenly appearing. The Father Fujimoto later reveals he's an exorcist by defending Rin from the clutches of Satan himself. Father Fujimoto gives his life and in doing so, tells Rin he is the son of Satan. Filled with confusion and rage, he vows to avenge Father Fujimoto by becoming an exorcist and killing Satan once and for all.
